Fuel Hike Demonstrations

Currently in Indonesia there is a big issue about fuel hike, many sides especially the poor disagree with that decision. But the government still want to increase the price. The agreement will be revealed on 1 April.

I think that many people dislike demonstrations. It can't be helped, many people see demonstrations as the 98 anarchy. I myself support demonstrations as long as it can still be controlled. I used to hate demonstrations before I realize that demonstrations are common things happen in a democratic country. Here, we can still be considered lucky as the police cannot kill the demonstrators  like police in China. That means our freedom of speech are valued.

Yet it is kind a disappointing because some demonstrators are payed to demonstrate, not because of their own will. It just like Indonesian people still consider anything can be bought with money.
